(By Balaseshan) Intellicheck Mobilisa Inc. (NYSEAMEX: IDN), which provides wireless technology and identity systems for various applications, said its subsidiary has received a wireless contract worth $671,962.
Mobilisa Inc. was awarded a wireless contract from Jefferson County Public Utility District and the Northwest Open Access Network (NoaNet).
The new contract is specifically focused on improving wireless broadband access for governmental, medical, educational, public safety as well as other important social services. The work is to begin immediately and expected to be completed by August 2013.
Funding for the project is from National Telecommunications Information Administration's Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP) Round II.

Intellicheck Mobilisa is engaged in developing and marketing wireless technology and identity systems for various applications including mobile and handheld access control and security systems for the government, military and commercial markets.
IDN is trading up 1.58% at $0.650 on Wednesday. The stock has been trading between $0.57 and $1.99 for the past 52 weeks.
