Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL): FBR lowered price target on the stock to $675 from $725. Shares added 1.11 percent to trade at $510.29.
TD Ameritrade Holding Corp. (NYSE: AMTD): Keefe Bruyette downgraded the stock to "market perform" from "outperform". Shares fell 2.31 percent to trade at $18.59.
Ford Motor Co. (NYSE: F): Deutsche Bank downgraded the stock to "hold" from "buy". Shares retreated 2.46 percent to trade at $13.82.

International Business Machines Corp. (NYSE: IBM): Societe Generale upgraded the stock to "hold" from "sell". Shares jumped 4.90 percent to trade at $205.67.
Las Vegas Sands Corp. (NYSE: LVS): Compass Point upgraded the stock to "neutral" from "sell". Shares fell 0.78 percent to trade at $53.14.
Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE: VZ): Canaccord upgraded the stock to "buy" from "hold". Shares traded 0.54 percent lower at $42.71.
