Dividend Roundup: UNP, UNH, MFC, RAI, EXC, ROST

(By Balaseshan) Dividend announcement by companies on Thursday include: Union Pacific, UnitedHealth Group, Manulife Financial, Reynolds American, Exelon, and Ross Stores.

Exelon Corp. (NYSE: EXC) will cut its dividend to 31 cents in the second quarter from 52.5 cents a share. The company  declared quarterly dividend of $0.525 per share, payable on March 8 to shareholders of record on Feb. 19. The stock, which has been in $28.40 to $40.31 range for past year, is currently trading up 1.48% at $31.44.

Union Pacific Corp. (NYSE: UNP) has declared quarterly dividend of $0.69 per share, payable on April 1 to stockholders of record on Feb. 28. The stock, which has been in $104.08 to $136.19 range for past year, is currently trading down 0.90% at $132.04.

UnitedHealth Group Inc. (NYSE: UNH) has declared quarterly dividend of $0.2125 per share, payable on March 26 to shareholders of record on March 15. The stock, which has been in $50.32 to $60.75 range for past year, is currently trading down 0.66% at $57.00.

Manulife Financial Corp. (NYSE: MFC) has declared quarterly dividend of C$0.13 per share, payable on March 19 to shareholders of record on Feb. 20. The stock, which has been in $9.97 to $14.86 range for past year, is currently trading up 0.35% at $14.53.

Reynolds American Inc. (NYSE: RAI) has declared quarterly dividend of $0.59 per share, payable on April 1 to shareholders of record on March 8. The stock, which has been in $39.18 to $46.93 range for past year, is currently trading up 1.07% at $44.23.

Ross Stores Inc. (NASDAQ: ROST) has raised quarterly dividend by 21% to $0.17 per share, payable on March 29 to stockholders of record on Feb. 22. The stock, which has been in $50.97 to $70.82 range for past year, is currently trading up 1.80% at $60.17.
