      <title>Campbell Reports Fourth Quarter and Fiscal 2009 Results</title>

      <description><![CDATA[&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Campbell Soup Company (NYSE:CPB) today reported net earnings for   the quarter ended Aug. 2, 2009 of $69 million, or $0.20 per share,   compared with $89 million, or $0.24 per share, in the year-ago period.   &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Excluding all items impacting comparability   in both periods, adjusted net earnings rose 11 percent to $107 million   compared with $96 million in the prior year's quarter, and   adjusted net earnings per share grew by 15 percent to $0.30 in the   current quarter compared with $0.26 in the year-ago quarter. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Reflecting   a stronger U.S. dollar, adjusted net earnings per share for the quarter   were negatively impacted by $0.02 due to currency translation.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;ul&gt;<a href=http://www.istockanalyst.com/article/viewarticle/articleid/3473485>[More...]</a>]]></description>
