      <description><![CDATA[Following the separation from Chrysler, DaimlerChrysler AG's External Affairs and Public Policy Department will also undergo a realignment with respect to NAFTA. Under the management of Robert G. Liberatore, who has had worldwide responsibility for the department since September 2003, Jake Jones assumed the company's newly formed office in Washington, D.C. on August 3. He will be responsible for External Affairs and Public Policy NAFTA and will cover contacts in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
