      <description><![CDATA[&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Jan. 4--Despite the worst year for stocks in nearly 80 years, a few central Ohio companies were able to find a little daylight in the darkness of 2008. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;The Dow Jones industrial average ended 2007 at 13,264, dropped as low as 7,552 on Nov. 20, and closed the year at 8,776, a loss of 33.8 percent. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;The meager honor roll included: State Auto, which finished the year up 14.3 percent at $30.06; Park National, which was up 11.2 percent at $71.75; and M/I Homes, which lost 73 percent in 2007 but was up 4 cents and 0.4 percent in 2008, closing at $10.54.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;ul&gt;<a href=http://www.istockanalyst.com/article/viewarticle/articleid/2922048>[More...]</a>]]></description>

The company's new principal equity owners are an investment group comprised of Silver Point Capital, L.P. and Angelo Gordon &amp; Co, L.P., Dominion's primary lenders, and BRC Properties Inc., which is controlled by Dominion Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Douglas G.       <title>Dominion Homes Shareholders Approve Going Private Transaction</title>

      <description><![CDATA[Dominion Homes, Inc. announced that its shareholders voted at a special meeting today to approve the merger agreement providing for the acquisition of Dominion Homes by a buyout group consisting of companies affiliated with Silver Point Capital, L.P., Angelo Gordon &amp; Co, L.P. and the Company's largest shareholder, BRC Properties, Inc., which is controlled by Company Chairman Douglas G. Borror. Of the shares that were voted at the meeting, approximately 91% of those shares voted in favor of the merger agreement. Under the terms of the merger agreement, the Company's shareholders will receive $0.65 in cash for each Company common share that they own immediately prior to the effective date of the merger.
