Empire Energy Corp. Intl. (OTC BB: EEGC) has signed Back to Site Agreement with Hunt Energy Drilling of Australia.
Malcolm Bendall said, "We welcome the signing of this agreement with Hunt Energy and look forward to working together and the commencement of drilling on the Bellevue site."
Empire intends to start drilling at Bellevue and follow with drilling at the Thunderbolt site.

Empire Oil and Gas P3 Current Valuation of $3.3 Billion Supports Two New License Applications

Empire Energy Corporation International (Empire)(OTCBB:EEGC.OB) announced that on September 30, 2009 its wholly owned subsidiary, Great South Land Minerals, Ltd. lodged an license application with Mineral Resources Tasmania as permitted under Tasmanian Legislation and provided additional information regarding financial capacity requested by MRT in support of an existing application.
The new application is to establish an Exploration License (EL) over the significant discoveries contained within the key seismically defined structures originally covered by Special Exploration License 13/98 that was set to expire.
The new application area is reduced approximately 50% but includes all the RPS identified P3 prospective resources which were identified as a result of our over $50 million expenditure, meeting license conditions over the past ten years.

Empire Total Expenditure Exceeds AUD $50 Million (US $40 Million) on SEL 13/98; Registration Statement and Rights Offering to Raise AUD $11 Million (US $9 Million) Awaiting 10Q Updates and Final SEC Approval

Empire Energy Corporation International (Empire) (OTCBB:EEGC) this week cited total expenditures, meeting the license conditions, have now exceeded AUD$50 Million (US $40 Million) on SEL 13/98 and an update of the Registration Statement and Rights Offering to raise an additional AUD$11 Million (US$9 Million) is awaiting the recently filed 10Q updates and subsequent approval from the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Furthermore, he noted that exploration work and capital invested by Empire has led to the discovery of at least fifteen identifiable dome structures previously unknown before Empire's work.
The Rights Offering will proceed upon completion of the registration statement and approval by the SEC. If fully subscribed, the rights offering would raise AUD$11 Million (US$9 Million) for our drilling program and should enable us to drill the Bellevue and Thunderbolt sites.

Empire Advises Drill Rig Status, License Applications and Rights Offering Registration

Empire Energy Corporation International (Empire) (OTCBB:EEGC) this week announced the mast and certain other components of the Hunt Energy rig #3 at the Bellevue #1 well site were moved to a holding yard in Launceston where work will be undertaken to "winterize" the rig to work in all conditions.
SEL 4/2009 and SEL 5/2009 Applications
In response to the Minister's letter, Empire has also submitted two new applications on 18 June 2009, for the special exploration license areas covered by SEL 4/2009 and SEL 5/2009, highlighting the financial and technical capacity of Empire Energy to carry out the proposed exploration programs and removing Geominex Resources as a joint venture partner.

The registration filing is the preliminary stage of the USD$9 million (AUD$12 million) Rights Issue.
