Oak Valley Community Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary of Oak Valley Bancorp, has appointed Deborah Kempton as vice president and branch manager of its full-service branch in Sonora in California.
With 26 years of banking and financial management experience, Ms Kempton takes over as the head of this branch office and will manage branch operations and business development.
Oak Valley Bancorp operates Oak Valley & Eastern Sierra Community Bank, through which it offers loan and deposit products to individuals and small businesses.

For the three months ended September 30, 2009, the Bank reported net income of $879,000.
Year-to-date results for the nine months ended September 30, 2009, include net income of $1,264,000 and net income available to common shareholders of $633,000.

The dream of homeownership moves closer to reality for ten additional low-income families of Stanislaus County, who have yet to be selected for the second and final phase ofthe Hope Village development in Modesto, California.
The Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) of San Francisco awarded $300,000 in Affordable Housing Program (AHP) funds to Oak Valley Community Bank (NASDAQ: OVLY), who has partnered with Habitat for Humanity, Stanislaus.
Designed to be a flexible source of gap financing, the Bank's competitive AHP provides grants to assist in the purchase, construction, or rehabilitation of housing for lower-income households.

OAKDALE, CA -- -- 01/30/09 -- Oak Valley Bancorp , the bank holding company for Oak Valley Community Bank and Eastern Sierra Community Bank, recently reported financial results for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2008. Total assets exceeded $500 million, increasing to $508.2 million for the year ended December 31, 2008, an 11.8% increase from the prior year. Net income for 2008 totaled $2.2 million compared to $3.9 million for 2007. Diluted earnings per common share were $0.27 in 2008 compared to $0.53 in 2007. For the three months ended December 31, 2008, net income totaled $283 thousand compared to $950 thousand, for the same period in 2007.
