Honeywell ITEC To Deliver F124 Engine For Alenia Aermacchi Advanced Jet Trainer

Honeywell (NYSE: HON) announced today that its International Turbine Engine Company (ITEC) has been awarded a contract to deliver F124-GA-200 engines to Alenia Aermacchi, a Finmeccanica Company, for the production of the Advanced Jet Trainer M-346. The initial agreement is valued at US $52 million.

Honeywell Wins First Production Contract For Its T-HawK Micro Air Vehicle

Honeywell received a $65 million production contract for its Micro Air Vehicle, known as the T-Hawk™. The $65 million agreement is for 90 T-Hawk™ systems. Each system consists of two T-Hawk™ vehicles and one ground control unit, spares, training for operators and maintainers, and field support. Hardware deliveries of the 90 systems will begin in the second quarter of 2009 and conclude in December 2009.

Honeywell Third Quarter Sales Up 6% To $9.3 Billion; Earnings Up 20% To $0.97 Per Share

Honeywell's third quarter 2008 sales of $9.3 billion, an increase of 6% versus the prior year. Earnings per share of $0.97 compares to $0.81 in the prior year, up 20%. Cash flow from operations was $769 million versus $910 million last year, and free cash flow (cash flow from operations less capital expenditures) was $556 million versus $736 million in the third quarter of 2007, primarily due to increased cash tax payments in the quarter. In the third quarter, Honeywell completed the sale of its Consumables Solutions business resulting in a pre-tax gain of $0.6 billion. Also during the third quarter, the company executed approximately $0.6 billion of repositioning, environmental and other actions across its businesses. Honeywell forecasts 2008 sales of approximately $37.2 billion, up 8% and narrowed its earnings per share range to $3.76 - 3.80, up 19% - 20% versus the prior year. Free cash flow is expected to be approximately $3.2 billion (cash flow from operations of $4.1 billion).

Honeywell Reports Second Quarter Sales Up 13% To $9.7 Billion And Earnings Up 23% To $0.96 Per Share

Honeywell today announced second quarter 2008 sales increased 13% to $9.7 billion from $8.5 billion last year. Earnings were up 23% to $0.96 per share, versus $0.78 per share last year. Cash flow from operations was $1,042 million versus $983 million in the second quarter of 2007 and free cash flow (cash flow from operations less capital expenditures) was $853 million, compared to $820 million last year. Year to date the company has generated cash flow from operations of $1,763 million versus $1,561 million in the same period last year and free cash flow (cash flow from operations less capital expenditures) of $1,424 million, compared to $1,278 million in 2007. Honeywell is increasing its previously stated 2008 sales guidance to $37.6 – 38.2 billion and full-year earnings per share to $3.75 - 3.85. EPS guidance does not include the expected gain on the sale of the Consumables Solutions (CS) business. The company expects a gain on the sale of CS in the third quarter, which may be significantly offset by repositioning or other actions.

Honeywell and Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. Finalize Contract for TPE331 Engine Component Production

Honeywell, through its Swiss subsidiary Honeywell International Sarl, and Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. (HAL) have finalized an agreement for Hindustan to manufacture commercial Honeywell TPE331 engines, engine components and kits for Honeywell. Hindustan Aeronautics has manufactured more than 200 TPE331-5 engines for use by the Indian military services, including the national Coast Guard, Navy and Air Force. The company also provides full maintenance and service on the aircraft engines at its facilities in Bangalore, India. The commercial agreement builds on that work by expanding into commercial engine manufacture of the latest generation of TPE engines for Honeywell’s Business and General Aviation business. Delivery of components to Honeywell will begin in 2009, reaching full volume capacity in 2012.

Honeywell announced the commencement of the public offering of its $600 million 4.25% Senior Notes due 2013 and its $900 million 5.30% Senior Notes due 2018 (collectively, the “Notes”). Honeywell Reports 2007 Full Year Sales Up to 10% to $34.6 Billion; Earnings Per Share Up 25% to $3.16

Honeywell announced full-year 2007 sales increased 10% to $34.6 billion from $31.4 billion in 2006. Earnings per share were up 25% to $3.16 versus $2.52 in the prior year. Cash flow from operations increased 22% to $3.9 billion versus $3.2 billion in 2006, and free cash flow (cash flow from operations less capital expenditures) was up 27% to $3.1 billion versus $2.5 billion in the prior year. Fourth quarter sales were up 12% to $9.3 billion versus $8.3 billion in 2006. Earnings per share increased 26% to $0.91 versus $0.72 in the prior year fourth quarter. Cash flow from operations was up 16% to $1.4 billion versus $1.2 billion in the prior year, and free cash flow was up approximately 20% to $1.1 billion versus $0.9 billion in the fourth quarter of 2006.
